London Plane Trees

We’ve had a very hot few weeks and the park is experiencing the
effects of the extreme heat.  The London Plane trees shed leaves prematurely to conserve water and protect themselves from dehydration. Parks Department employees have been very busy raking the whole park and clearing the leaves from the lawns.
